Dear Lone Pine Families,
I am excited to introduce myself to the Lone Pine community as your Interim Principal for the remainder of the 2023-24 school year. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community and continue the excellent educational experience here at Lone Pine.
For the past year and a half, I have been serving as the Associate Principal at Bloomfield Hills High School. While my recent experiences have been at the secondary level, my journey also includes teaching at the elementary level and serving as an Interim Principal at Edison Elementary within the Fraser Public School District.
In the upcoming weeks, my focus will be on getting to know the students and staff of Lone Pine.
I firmly believe that a school should be a place where students feel safe, learn, and have fun, and this foundation begins with positive relationships.
Looking ahead, I am eager to be part of the celebrations and traditions that will unfold for our students in the months to come. I have heard incredible things about the Lone Pine Elementary community.
It's fascinating how the mascot of Lone Pine is the Lion. Lions live in Prides, and it's heartening to hear about the "Pride" that students, staff, and parents have for their school. I am very excited to be a new Lion!
