Lone Pine Elementary School
The mission of Lone Pine Elementary is to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which students achieve personal academic excellence, demonstrate caring and responsibility, and become empowered, internationally-minded citizens and lifelong learners.
The educational focus at Lone Pine is based on developing confident, creative, flexible, technologically savvy, 21st century learners and preparing them to anticipate and collaboratively solve the challenges in an ever-changing world. The Lone Pine staff and community are pleased to share with one another this mission of preparing students for the future.
Meet Paul, the Lone Pine Therapy Dog
Paul was the first BHS therapy dog to join the district at the beginning of the 21-22 school year. His presence has been a constant source of joy and positivity, enriching the school community ever since hebecame a part of the school family. A school therapy dog is a specially trained and certified dog that is brought into a school environment to provide emotional support, comfort, and various therapeutic benefits to students, teachers, and staff.
International Baccalaureate
We utilize inquiry-based instructional practices that build on children's natural curiosity and encourage students to use critical thinking skills, reflect on their learning and compassionately develop solutions for real-world problems.
Lone Pine Student Action Team
Action is one of the Essential Elements of the IB Primary Years Programme. It promotes a connection to learning, helps students think about their community in which they live, and develops leadership skills. This group of student from multiple grades create action plans to make a difference in the community.
